hi, i'm poshitha. i'm 19, studying computer science & engineering + finance with a math minor at lehigh.
my interests span deep learning, computer vision, machine perception, reasoning, reinforcement learning, and robotics. i'm also exploring ai safety research and learning lean and formal verification.
right now i'm a junior technical analyst at samsung research america, where i research emerging technologies across digital health and consumer tech. i also support due diligence and investing at kidron, a femtech and biotech fund.
previously i was a software engineer at elevate, where i built the startup's first ai product, and at ford credit, where i built credit risk models.
i also spend a lot of time researching and writing about which companies are leading in ai in a safe and ethical way, and share those thoughts in the sof research rundown.
outside of work, i love cooking and trying new places to eat (find me on beli), running, taking pictures + videos, hiking, long walks toward unnecessarily expensive coffee (here are my favorite cafes in sf), and watching movies. i grew up doing competitive abacus and trained in bharatanatyam, a form of indian classical dance. i also love poetry and learning about extremely random things, and you'll usually find me deep in something from my reading list.
